Because we take on a limited number of weddings each year, the inquiry form ensures we’re able to give your event the time, creativity, and care it deserves.


Step Two: Discovery Call with Your Ann Arbor Wedding Florist

Once we review your inquiry, we schedule a discovery call. This is where we begin building your custom floral vision.

During this call, we’ll talk through:

From here, we collaborate closely to refine your floral estimate. We’ll go back and forth on specific floral elements, quantities, and scale until everything feels right.

  • Customizing designs to balance beauty and budget

Step Five: Booking Your Wedding Date

Once your wishlist estimate is in a comfortable place, it’s time to officially book your date with Little Workshop Floral.

To reserve your wedding date, we require:

  • A signed terms and conditions document

  • A 25% non-refundable deposit based on your wishlist estimate

This secures your date on our calendar and allows us to move fully into the creative planning phase of your wedding florals.


Step Six: Custom Mood Board & Color Palette Design

After booking, we begin creating a custom mood board for your wedding. This includes curated inspiration, potential color palettes, and overall design direction tailored to your venue and season.

Rather than locking in exact flower varieties months in advance, we focus on:

  • Refined color relationships

  • Texture, movement, and negative space

  • A timeless aesthetic that photographs beautifully

This approach allows us to design florals that feel natural, elevated, and seasonally appropriate.


Step Seven: Months of Thoughtful Planning & Customization

In the months leading up to your wedding day, we continue refining and customizing your floral design.

As details evolve, we:

  • Adjust designs for layout or guest count changes

  • Fine-tune color palettes and floral focus

  • Coordinate logistics for installations and setup
