A Summer Celebration in Bloom: Vibrant Florals for a Joyful Wedding
When I first spoke with Margaret, she described a day filled with warmth, happiness, and the joyful energy of summer. She wanted her and Ben's day to feel like a lush, color-filled garden in full bloom—playful yet elegant, romantic yet bursting with life. With this inspiration in mind, I curated a floral design that embodied the essence of summer, embracing bold colors and abundant blooms.
The Florals: A Symphony of Summer
Colors play such an important part of a wedding day and these florals not only provided a stunning visual impact but also reflected the couple’s fun-loving and warm personalities. The mixture of textures and shapes created a dynamic yet harmonious look, perfect for a summer wedding.
The Bridal Bouquet & Maids’ Bouquets
For the bridal bouquet, we crafted a lush, hand-tied arrangement overflowing with soft color and movement. The mix of large focal blooms like garden roses and deliphiniums with whimsical blooms like Fama scabiosa, chamomile, and sweet peas gave it an organic, garden-inspired feel. The bridesmaids carried smaller, complementary versions, allowing the bride’s bouquet to stand out while keeping a cohesive look.
The Pergola Installation: A Floral Statement
One of the most breathtaking features of the wedding was the floral-adorned pergola for the ceremony. Using a foam-free technique, we built a cascading floral installation filled with vibrant blooms and flowing greenery, making it feel as though nature itself had created this in place. The pergola became a stunning focal point, framing the couple as they exchanged vows under a canopy of flowers.
